sebenarnya ini cerita hari kamis kemarin , tetapi biar agak keren saya ngepost nya pas friday the 13rd. ngga penting ya :D

aduh mak, udah jam setengah lapan?? ngga tau kenapa, saya kok belakangan ini suka bangun lebih siang dari biasanya. tapi ngga apa-apa lah toh hari ini saya kuliah jam setengah sbelas. I still have couple hours to get ready and do other things.. hmm how about cooking?? suddenly I think about cireng I ate 2 days ago in ciwalk.. cireng is aCIdigoRENG, a traditional snack originally from bandung made from tapioca, used to be filled with “pecel” peanut paste but now it starts innovating, because many cireng seller try combine it with teriyaki chicken, corned beef, sausages, bolognaise flavour, cheese, etc. I think it tastes better and makes it more expensive (ya eyalah)

okay, back to the topic, I still have couple table spoons of tapioca and a can of flour, so I can make cireng now.. asik! I have no peanut paste or beef or some other serious ingredients. let me think.. oh ya! I still have about a half cup of cheddar cheese so I will make my cireng filled with cheese. I bet you it tastes good and crazy, easy, speedy.

  1. mix tapioca and flour (ordinary one) with 3:1 comparisons
  2. add couple pinch of salt, white pepper, crushed garlic and shallot, little pinch of sugar, spring onion and chicken powder (optional)
  3. mix it with warm water till it doesn’t stick to your hand and you can make a good shape (don’t make it too thick or too big, cause it will take long time to cook)
  4. fry in warm coconut oil, keep the medium heat till crisp.( just cut it half to make sure it’s done^^)

breakfast is ready!!

I eat the cireng while it’s still hot not warm (yes, it’s kinda bad habbit)

it is crispy outside and gooey inside while you smell the aroma from the cheese and chicken powder.. one more, one more..
